PS Doors - LSG Ladder Safety Gates - OSHA Safety Gate

LSG Ladder Safety Gates are self-closing swing gates that are OSHA and ANSI-compliant and adjust to fit your opening size. They are a great way to protect ladderways, mezzanines, elevated platforms, or anywhere there is an opening in your guardrails. Many of our customers are replacing their old chains that were used to ‘protect’ openings with these gates, which meet the loading requirements for passive fall protection.

Recently, one of the most popular products, the EdgeHalt Ladder Safety Gate, was improved with some great upgrades, making this very popular product even better. Some of the highlights include:

  1. Greater range of adjustment. Gates now have an adjustment range of 10”, up from around 4” range. Therefore it's much easier to determine what gate size will fit, and some can even be inventoried by customers if needed, as they can fit a larger range of openings for each model size.
  2. Slam-proof dampener.
  3. Springs tested to exceed more than 1 million cycles, which means less downtime or even occurrence from broken springs.
  4. More compact design and packaging mean lower shipping costs.
